To everyone in District 85, I was honored that you’ve put your faith in me to serve as your Delegate. On Virginia Beach City Council for the Rose Hall district, I look forward to working together with you to strengthen our schools, achieve better access to City opportunities, and start building a Virginia Beach that lifts all of us up – together!
We all know first hand that today’s failure to protect our environment will lead to unsafe air and water and catastrophic flooding that threaten Virginia Beach. That’s why I’ve been fighting for the environment every day as a leader in the community and will continue to do so on City Council.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Our city government should be fixing these problems, not making it harder for families to get by. I am running for Virginia Beach City Council to be a champion for Virginia Beach. I know you care about this community as much as I do, and I hope you will join me in this effort.

In a state were the majority of city policy changes need approval from the General Assembly, now is the time to elect a city council member with state experience.
In 2017, Cheryl Turpin was the first Virginian Democrat to flip a Trump district for the General Assembly. Now it’s time to bring her leadership and experience to the City of Virginia Beach!
